Module 01
Foundations of the ideal living space
Light — you'll be able to verify the apartment's lighting scenario before electrical work begins. Kitchen — you'll be able to coordinate the kitchen, appliances and utilities in the right order, without relocating outlets across finished tile. Bathroom — you'll be able to assess the layout of wet zones and avoid paying for a bathroom redo. Bedroom — you'll be able to brief your designer on private zones in the language of a proper design brief. Wardrobes and utility rooms — you'll be able to plan storage and service niches at the layout stage, not “later”.

The design process and choosing a professional
What “turnkey” really means — you'll be able to tell a complete service scope from marketing packaging in 10 minutes. Stages: concept → budget → technical drawings — you'll be able to demand the deliverable of each stage in the right sequence, as in the RIBA Plan of Work. Criteria for choosing a designer — you'll be able to vet a candidate's portfolio, project scope and contract against a checklist before signing.
Module 03
Selecting suppliers and managing the renovation
Materials and suppliers — you'll be able to compare quotes against comparable specifications rather than “by feel”. Windows, doors, utilities, appliances — you'll be able to sequence orders so that long-lead items never stall the build. Custom furniture vs. ready-made — you'll be able to work out where made-to-order furniture is justified and where it's an overpayment. Contract with the construction company — you'll be able to fix stages, deadlines, scope of work and liability in writing. The legal side — you'll be able to know what to cite in a dispute with a contractor. Acceptance of work — you'll be able to sign off each stage against a checklist and document defects legally.

The course is built for the homeowner, not the professional. You learn not to draft, but to set the task, verify the deliverable of each stage and make decisions. These are a client's skills — no art education required.
